We know that fish is a source of dozens of nutrients and even vegetarians get jealous due to its impact on health. Fish is said to be a great food that leads to a healthy heart. However it’s the turn of human to spoil it. Recently the habit of spraying of chemical called formalin on the fish has become normal. Formalin is supposed to let the fish appear to be fresh which would of course attract the customers. However continued exposure to formalin could harm to the kidneys, liver and might eventually lead to cancers. Recent raids have declared that the fishermen in Andhra and Tamil Nadu were undoubtedly using the chemical to woo the customers. Strict action is required by the government to prevent such action which not only spoils the reputation of the state but also the health of its citizens.
