Ukraine has alleged that kickbacks worth more than 17 crores were given to Indian officials during a defense transaction. India has set a deal to purchase spares for military transport aircraft An-32. However Ukraine is alleging that huge amounts were involved as bribe in this deal. Wit the alert made by Ukraine, Anti-Corruption Bureau began a probe to find out the involvement of Indian Defense Ministry officials. This might be the latest scam that could irk the government which is already having huge trouble regarding financial administration.
