TRS aims at opposition parties, but hitting at farmers

Telangana Chief Minister KCR actually planned to dissolve the two main opposition parties TDP and Congress parties before next general elections. He is successful to some extent. He attracted several top leaders of both parties by throwing bait to them. But, KCR himself has provided breather to his victims for their survival. His negligent attitude towards a very sensitive issue like farmers’ suicides provides them an opportunity to rejunivate their party cadres from the grass root level with their Raithu Bharosa Yatras.

KCR’s decision to suspend opposition parties from the assembly was also proved to be a deadly mistake. It encouraged the opposition parties to unite and make a concentrated attack against him and his government. Both parties have started Raithu Bharosa Yatras soon after they were suspended from the Assembly.

But, then again TRS government made another mistake. Instead of summoning an all party meeting to discuss and find ways for this burning problem, Chief Minister KCR asked his party men to strongly react against their Raithu Bharosa Yatras. Hence, his son and the IT Minister KTR compare them as “vultures on search for farmers’ dead bodies.”

Chief Minister KCR and his party men may be thinking that they are just attacking opposition parties, but their reactions and statements are sending very wrong messages to the farmers, who are in very desperate situation. They are expecting the government to address their problem, but they find the government is reacting negatively. So, it may provide an opportunity to TDP and Congress parties to become close to farmers in the state.
