TRS avert confrontation with Centre?

TRS MPs, who met Home Minister Rajnath Singh yesterday, have declared their talks are successful and he assured them that Governor will not intervene in day-to-day business of the state government, even though he was accorded police administration powers in the joint capital Hyderabad.

However, they admitted that Centre will not make any changes in the AP Reorganization Bill-2014 or in its letter sent to Telangana government recently over according administration powers to Governor. So, it is understood that Centre doesn’t change its stand but TRS wisely avert a direct confrontation with the Centre.

TRS MPs and Home Minister come to an understanding by finding an amicable solution to this issue that become prestigious to both of them. It is learnt that Home Minister Rajnath Singh has agreed to let the Police Board supervise the transfers of the police officials in Hyderabad, instead of Governor handling that job. So, it seems TRS put an end to its fight over this issue and a confrontation between Centre and state has been averted with collective effort.
