Eight people hit by train killed on spot

According to reports, 8 passengers were killed in a train accident near Gotlam village in Vizianagaram district on Saturday evening around 7 pm. The ill-fated passengers travelling in Bokaro Express has jumped out of the halted train, who were scared with the rumors of train catching fire. But, unfortunately they were hit by Rayagada Passenger that is passing on the other track at the same time.

According to reports several injured in this tragic incident. However, the exact reason for this incident is not known yet. There may be fire crackers in the train that caught fire, suspects the passengers. Since, the incident occurred in an isolated area, between Gotlam and Vizianagaram stations, relief teams and ambulances may take an hour or so to reach the spot.
