State Handloom & Textiles minister Shankar Rao condemned the comments madae by YS vivekananda Reddy against CBI joint director Mr. V V Laxminarayana. Earlier, former agricultural minister YS Vivekananda Reddy has commented that Laxminarayana is a corrupt official.

Coming down heavily on Vivekananda Reddy, Shankar Rao said that it is not fair for Viveka to term the CBI joint director as 'corrupt', when the latter is doing his duty according to the Court orders. Viveka should introspect on misdeeds of his kith and kin and then call someone a 'corrupt person'.
