T-Effect on AP police

As every decision taken by Andhra and Telangana governments is directly influencing on each other, T-Government granting Rs.300 crore to its police department for buying new vehicles, obviously inspires the AP Home Minister N Chinarajappa to follow the steps.

He announced that AP government will also allocate Rs.100 crores for buying new vehicles for the police department. During his recent visit to Rajhamundry, he nods for upgrading the commissionerate office there. He said that his ministry has already completed the home work for filling up the vacant IPS officers posts by promoting the senior officers. He said all the 114 IPS officers allotted to the state will take charge of their offices very soon. However, he is averse to the idea of granting weekly off to the police as there is huge shortage of staff. Probably, government may consider this idea in a letter period after filling up all the vacancies in the department.
