Cong. to stay away from Allagadda Bye-polls

AP PCC President Raghuveera Reddy seems realized that contesting Nandigama bye-elections was a terrible mistake. So, he declares that his party will stay away from Allagadda bye-elections, but didn’t give any specific reasons for his decision. He said this decision was taken after consulting party political affairs in-charge Digvijay Singh. Actually, first he plans to field his party candidate in these bye-elections also, but it seems the bitter experience that his party had at Nandigama bye-elections has stopped him from entering this race.

TDP has already declared that it will stay away from these bye-elections following the tradition of leaving the seat to family member of the deceased candidate. YSR Congress party is fielding late Shobha Nagireddy’s daughter Akhila Priya as its candidate in these bye-elections. Although, TDP and Congress parties are staying away from these elections, there are total seven candidates in the race. So, elections become inevitable, otherwise it would be unanimous for YSR party candidate.
