TDP leader’s Deeksha foiled

Alerted with the doctors’ feed back over deteriorating health condition of TDP MLAs and MPs, who sat on an indefinite hunger strike at Old MLA quarters in protest against government’s inaction in dealing power crisis and its proposal of hike in power bills, the government has ordered the police to foil their deeksha. Hence, the police have shifted the agitating TDP leaders to NIMS hospital on yesterday mid-night foiling their 4day indefinite hunger strike.

Quite coincidently, Nara Lokesh has visited his party leaders on the afternoon and flayed the government for turning blind eye on their demands despite 4days of hunger strike by the party leaders. He said that his party is asking for nothing new but to implement its election’s promises made to people on power supply.

As if worried with his entry and the deteriorating health condition of TDP leaders, the government took this step instead of giving them any assurances. However, TDP leaders said that they will continue their hunger strike in the hospital until the government agrees to their demands. But, they are likely to discontinue their hunger strike soon.
