TG puts various departments on high alert

Hyderabad: Marketing and other departments have been put on high alert by the government of Telangana State following the prediction of the weather forecasters who informed that Cyclone Kyant is going to affect the state in the coming days.

The officials of Marketing Department were asked by the irrigation minister T Harish Rao to take all the possible steps to save the grains which had been brought to the yards of the market by the peasants. The officials were also advised to store the food grains properly so that damage would not be caused due to the rains.
