SC adjourns petitions on bifurcation to 18th

Supreme Court has adjourned the cases related to four petitions filed opposing bifurcation of the state to 18th November. TDP leader Payyavula Keshav, Raghu Rama Krishnam Raju, K.Krishna Murthy and Somayajulu have filed separate petitions in Supreme Court complaining the bifurcation process is not progressing in accordance with constitutional procedures and hence appealed the apex court to order the central government to stop the process immediately.

However the court stated that it needs sufficient time to go through this case before taking up as it is very much complicated one. But, by the time the court take-up the case, bifurcation process may be nearing completion. Probably, the by then the draft may be returned to President and he may forward it to Cabinet for preparing and producing the T-bill in Parliament.
