Former Union Minister Shashi Tharoor’s wife Sunanda Pushkar’s mysterious death case is continuing like a suspense thriller movie even after a year of investigation by the Delhi police.
Dr. Sudheer Gupta, who served as head of the forensic department in the AIMS wrote a letter Union Health Minister J P Nadda, who is also the President of AIIMS. He writes “a tacit understanding” between the institute's Director Dr. Mishra and Congress leader Shashi Tharoor for making a “tailor made” post-mortem report on Sunanda Pushkar's death.
“I was asked by Dr. Mishra to give a post mortem report of late Sunanda Pushkar as natural death which was contrary to the findings, but I presented the factual report without succumbing to their pressures.” His letter was dated May 28th, 2015.
Dr. Adarsh Kumar, who was also a member of the board of doctors which conducted the post mortem, has made similar statement. He said that we were asked to give the manner of death as “natural” in contradiction to the post mortem findings, but we did not succumb to their pressures.”
However, Dr. Mishra promptly condemned their allegations levied against him. Hence, this unexpected twist given by the two doctors of AIMS may fix Shashi Tharoor and the Dr. Mishra. Shashi Tharoor has been stating that he is innocent in this case, but the investigating officers and the media is also trying to project him as a sinner in this case.
