Can Rahul survive without mother’s support?

The Congress party president Sonia Gandhi was admitted in Gangaram Hospital in New Delhi on Thursday as she had some problem in breathing. According to available information, she is alright and may be discharged from the hospital today or tomorrow.

Her only one ambition is to see her darling son Rahul Gandhi rule the country sitting in the Prime Minister Chair. She holds that chair for him for the last ten years by offering it to anytime-ready-to-quit Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. But, Rahul who might have realized that he is not fit for that chair hesitates to occupy it, despite being encouraged by hundreds of bhajan-teams in the Congress party. Finally, when he shows some courage to occupy the PM Chair, his time was out and Modi has comfortably settled in it. Probably, Modi may never give him a chance to sit in his chair.

Even after miserable defeat in the general elections, Rahul Gandhi has not realized his situation. He simply dozes in the back benches of the Loksabha instead of taking charge of the party. His lack of leadership qualities further enhanced in the presence of Narendra Modi. Soon after the Congress party was defeated in the general elections, demands for Sonia and Rahul Gandhi resignations to their posts pitched up in the party. Party senior leader P Chidambaram and some others are hinting that they are ready to take charge of the party, if Sonia and Rahul Gandhi quit their chairs.

In this prevailing situation, if Sonia Gandhi retires from the politics due to her ill health, probably Rahul Gandhi also has to retire from the politics, because he is not capable to ride on the back of the 125 year old Congress horse without her support. Even if he wants to ride on it, probably it may be not ready to carry a bad rider like him, who lacks leadership qualities.
