Somu Veeraju objects and seeks apology from TDP MP Jayadev

TDP MP Galla Jayadev said that he is very much disappointed to see Prime Minister Narendra Modi not making any announcement on special status or special package to the state during his recent visit to Amaravati.

He said “TDP can’t insist him for special status as long as it continues to sail together with BJP. I think that the state government should have some clarity on how to achieve special status and package.” Later, media reports that CM Chandrababu Naidu asked him not speak against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his government.

But, BJP senior leader Somu Veeraju sharply reacted on his statement. He strongly objected for his statement and also demands him for an unconditional apology to Prime Minister for speaking so.

He said “Prime Minister Modi never opposed for granting special status to the state nor he ever said that he is not granting it. Modi said that his government is trying to clear the hurdles for it. But, TDP leaders are making baseless allegations against Prime Minister Modi. Hence, I demand Galla Jayadev to withdraw his statement and tender an unconditional apology to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.”

“TDP Government is claiming the credit for uninterrupted power supply and loan waiver, whereas it is actually attributed to Central government. Government is not giving any importance to our BJP leaders of the state although it is seeking and taking support from our NDA government,’ alleges Somu Veeraju.
