Court grants interim bail to Shankarao

Nampalli Court has grnated anticipatory bail to former Minister Shankarao in connection with a case filed by Nerdmet police for misbehaving with them during his arrest on January 31st. Shankarao is also facing another case related to Green Fields case, but absconding arrest on health grounds. When, he was arrested by the police, he was blessed with huge support from backward classes and Congress leaders and ministers. Hence, the case seems to be shelved for time being. However, when CID has served summons to him, he skips questioning on health grounds.
