Supreme Court's verdict convicting AIADMK General Secretary VK Sasikala comes as a shock and a huge setback for her camp who had the numbers to prove their majority on the floor of the state Assembly. Supreme Court bench has also ordered immediate arrest of Sasikala and said that soon to be former AIADMK general secretary will be out of active politics for next ten years.
Sasikala's conviction further muddied the already murky and unpredictable saga that unfolds in Tamil Nadu.
On the flip side, O Panneerselvam's supporters gather outside his residence and celebrate by burst firecrackers after the DA case verdict that convicted VK Sasikala. Reports state that, more MLA’s from Sasikala camp will join Panneerselvam’s camp.
