The intentions behind Sadak bandh

TRS and T-JAC seems halfway to success with their proposed sadak bandh program to be held today at Hyderabad and Bangalore highway as they receives exact reaction from the government which refused permission to it.

TRS president KCR and T-JAC Chief Prof. Kodandaram’s failure to pressurize the Congress high command in making a favorable announcement on Telangana issue even after the expiry of self-set-deadline, makes the people lost their confidence in the duo and their agitations.

Besides Nagam Janardhan Reddy’s allegations against the duo of diverting attention from Telangana agitations to elections also had its adverse effect on the people, which ultimately reflected in their big defeat in recent co-operative elections and partial defeat in MLC elections.

Hence, the duo is forced to take-upon this acid test to prove that they have not lost the confidence of their people as claimed by the Government and Congress high command and by their counterparts in Seemandhra region.

More over, UPA’s repeated provocative statements against Telangana are throwing a big challenge to KCR and Prof. Kodandaram to prove their strength in the Telangana. Hence, both these so-called-Telangana-saviors have called for sadak bandh to ignite the Telangana-fire again in the people and to revamp their lost status in the region and to ensure peoples’ support to them in the upcoming elections.

Hence, more the force used by police against their sadak bandh more the benefit and more the sympathy showers from the people. That’s why both the leaders have put their prestige at stake in facing the government and police forces with their sadak bandh.

CM Kiran Kumar Reddy is also well aware of their intentions behind sadak bandh, yet he couldn’t afford to let them take the roads as and when they plans, thus showing upper-hand over his government. Would he sit quite and let them allow blocking the most important highway, it will be considered as his government’s failure. If, he uses his forces against the protestors, then obviously they will boast themselves as war-heroes.

This is what KCR and Prof. Kodandaram exactly want to happen and so are they spearheading with sadak bandh program.
