Hyderabad: On Saturday, the government of the state was demanded by the Telangana State Telugu Desam Party to charge eight seed companies under PD act for selling fake seeds and thereby causing huge amount of damage to the crop.

The working president of the Telugu Desam Party, A Revanth Reddy said, “The Chief Minister of Telangana, K Chandrasekhar Rao is making empty promises of charging the seed companies under the PD act, but in reality, TRS is refusing to file cases despite notices having been served to the seed companies by the agriculture commissioner”.
