Fresh case filed against Ramoji rao

Judge N. Srinivasa rao of the 4th metropolitan additional court, Visakhapatnam has ordered the 3 town police to file a fresh case against media baron Ramoji rao and four others related to the land-lease-deal case that was going on between Ramoji rao and the owner of the land Mantena Aditya Varma in different courts.

According to reports, Ramoji rao, who took a peace of land on long lease and started his Eenadu News paper office in Seetammadhara in Vizag, has transferred part of the land to government for road widening purpose and acquired the same size of the land in other place from the government which he registers on his own name. While doing so, he kept the owner in dark and also not willing to return the land back to its owner, even after the lease agreement period was over a decade ago. Several cases between the two are going on in different courts till today and this is the latest one filed against Ramoji rao. The Judge has ordered the police to file fresh case against Ramoji rao and four other government officials, who were involved in this crime under sections IPC 120b, 193, 196, 471, 465, 466 for cheating and forging the documents. Judge has also asked the police to submit their report before May 6th without fail.
