BJP suspends Ram Jetmalani

Noted lawyer and senior leader of BJP Ram Jetmalani was suspended from the party for 6 years for his anti-party stand. He shots letters to party high command opposing the re-election of former president Nitin Gadkari few months ago. He also criticized the party’s decision of opposing the appointment of Ranjit Sinha as the CBI director. Jetmalani in his letter to party high command, has stated that he is not willing to work under the leadership of Nithin Gadkari and if, the party prefers to re-elect him, then he will quit the party. The parliamentary board presided by party president Rajnath Singh has decided to suspend Jetmalani from the party for 6 years. BJP sent the letter to Jetmalani on Monday evening informing about his suspension from party. Responding to it Jetmalani said, soon he is going to reveal the ugly side of some leaders of the party, who made this happens to him.
