Rich tributes were paid to TRS ideologue Prof. K Jayashankar who passed away recently, at a condolence meeting named as 'Spurthi Sabha' held at Ravindra Bharathi Today evening. Leaders and activists from TRS, TJAC and several other pro-Telangana parties attended the sabha and paid rich tributes to the departed professor. Former Vice-chairperson of Rajya Smt. Nazma Hepthullah came all the way from Delhi to pay her homage to prof Jayashankar. Prominent leaders K Chandrasekhar Rao, prof Kodandaram, Nazma Hepthullah and several others spoke on the occasion and remembered times and unrelenting struggle of prof Jayashankar for achieving separate Telangana.
