President Pranab Mukharji, who is arriving on a ten days’ winter camp to Hyderabad today, speaking at a intelligence agencies conference held at New Delhi has made some interesting remarks on bifurcation, though it is the not the occasion to speak. He said “The growing population and their demands made it necessary for creation of new states. However, the government should be very careful while dividing the states. It should take the political and administrative issues into consideration before thinking about this option. Intelligence agencies should train and upgrade themselves to meet the new challenges.”

Although, he is agreeing that creation of new states are ineviatble, he seems not so happy for the way Congress is dividing Andhra Pradesh state now.
