Give and Take policy of oil companies

People might be very happy to hear petrol price comes down by Rs.1.15 from yesterday mid-night. But, they prefer to ignore the-just-50 NP raise in diesel price. But, it may make them pay an extra rupee everywhere and every item they purchase from today onwards as any slightest hike in diesel price will first affect the transport sector and ultimately it is transferred back to the people through market products. More over the consumption of diesel is much higher than petrol. So, the oil companies are wisely drawing money from people’s pockets without their knowledge, but can’t help.

Next, people should be prepared to pay a couple of hundreds extra on domestic gas cylinders very soon. Pharek committee suggested for Rs.250 hike on each cylinder. Probably, the shocker may come soon after the elections in five states completes in the next month.
