Foundation stone for NIT to be laid at Gudem

Union HRD Minister Smrithi Irani will lay foundation stone for National Institute of Technology at Tadepalligudem in West Godavari district on Thursday morning at 9.30 am. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Union Ministers Venkaiah Naidu, Sujana Choudary, state ministers, MLAs and officials will attend this function. Classes will be commenced in NIT from this academic year itself in a temporary campus identified by the statement government in Eluru.

Union Minister for Commerce Nirmala Sitaraman also will inaugurate Container Prize Station at Gangavaram Port built by Vizag Profiles. Later, she will inaugurate regional office of the Export Inspection Council at Gambheeram located in the outskirts of Vizag city where IIM is coming up soon. Then she will move to Kopperla village in Vizianagaram district for inaugurating Captive Power plant near Vizianagar Biotech.
