HM Asks To Clean Naxals

Home Minister Rajnath Singh is stern on the deadly attack that killed 25 CRPF jawans in Sukma in Chhattisgarh. He calls it as " a cold blooded murder". The  Union home minister asked the Jawans to identify the errors and problem areas that are exposing the CRPF to repeated high-casualty attacks and redraw the counter-Naxal strategy to plug them.

Maoist insurgents carried out one of the worst attacks on Monday, apart from those who died, six personnel of the CRPF were critically injured.

The soldiers were actually guarding road workers in the Sukma district, a hotbed of insurgent violence, when they came under heavy fire.

Mr Rajnath Singh said that Centre has decided to held a high-level meeting involving all 10 Maoist-hit states in New Delhi on May 8 to hammer out a new strategy" for a "decisive fight against the Maoists. Chief ministers of these states will also attend the meeting.
