Modi Govt. reconstitutes Cabinet Committees

Narendra Modi Government reconstituted six Cabinet Committees today, replacing the Congress loyalists with BJP leaders. The Committees reconstituted today are: 1. Appointments Committee, 2. Committee on Accommodation, 3 Economic Affairs, 4. Parliamentary Affairs, 5. Political Affairs, 6. Committee on Security. Union Home Ministry is reported to be asked heads of the SC, ST Commission, National Commission for Women and Disaster Management Commission. Marri Shashidhar Reddy vice president of Disaster Management Commission has stepped down first. He said that he has sent his resignation letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi three days ago, thus enabling reconstitute the commission.
