In a tragic incident, a wall of the Nanking Chinese Restaurant near Paradise Junction in Secunderabad collapsed around 10.30 p.m. on Tuesday, in which 1 person is dead, 1 missing and 4 others injured. At the time, at least 10 customers were having dinner inside and five staff were working in the kitchen.

One of the staff members Gopal is dead, while another Himal is missing and is suspected to be trapped under the debris. Four others, Shiva, Ramesh, Raju and Leo, the owner of the restaurant were injured and were shifted to the Gandhi General Hospital.
