Modi’s Cabinet constitues SIT in first meeting

 

Narendra Modi’s cabinet has met for the first time today evening. The cabinet comes-up with a concrete decision for unearthing the black money dumped in the foreign banks. The cabinet has approved SIT (special investigating team) to be led by retired justice of Supreme Court MB Shah. The SIT will have deputy governor of RBI (Reserve Bank of India), directors of ED (Enforcement Directorate), RAW (Research and Analysis Wing), IB (Intelligence Bureau), RI (Revenue Intelligence), CBI (Crime Branch of India) as members. SIT will study and recommend the union government on how to deal with this serious issue of black money that remains unsolved for decades.

 

Narendra Modi government has taken a very bold decision in its first meeting, but whether it can complete the task that it begins today or not to be seen in the days to come. Modi cabinet will meet again tomorrow also.
