Prime Minister ignored the ICICI scam

The 3000 crore scam between ICIC I bank and Videocon might be shaking the country. It’s deemed to be one more blow on the confidence of tax payers with the banking system. But sources reveal that the Prime Minister’s office was warned about the scam in 2016. An activist named Arvind Gupta has written a letter to the PMO stating the facts of the crime. Even Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) has sent a request to the government requesting the grant to probe the scam. But no one seemed to be interested in dealing a scam that would bring the bank’s CEO Chanda Kochar into limelight. And now... it seems to be too late when every penny of the scam has been drifted away.
