Can Rahul change the party system at all?

When it is a Congress government, then a nod from New Delhi is inevitable for every silly work or decision. In such case, one can’t expect the remotely operated state leaders like CM Kiran Kumar Reddy and PCC President Botsa Satyanarayana can take a decision and declare the names of the 5 MLCs candidates on their own.

Hence, both of they have landed before the party high command today with different lists in their hands. After finalizing the names of the 5 MLC candidates with Madam Sonia Gandhi, CM and PCC president are returning home by evening flight. The 5 lucky persons’ names may be declared by today night or tomorrow early morning. Then the party candidates will file their nominations on tomorrow, as it is the last day for filing nominations.

All this indicates that neither the party high command nor the state leaders have understood the ideology of their young vice president Rahul Gandhi, who repeatedly insists for decentralization of powers. Even yesterday, Rahul has said that the party high command is forcibly imposing its decisions on the states and it need to be changed at once. CM Kiran Kumar Reddy and PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana, who attends number of meetings held by Rahul Gandhi, have proved that the old habits die hard. Even his mother Sonia Gandhi seems strongly believing that the existing system of the party can’t be changed so quickly as her son wises to be.
