Fresh case filed against Minister Talasani

Talasani Srinivas Yadav may be the only one person who has been facing several complaints for simultaneously continuing as TDP MLA and as minister in the TRS Government. He is continuing as TDP MLA because neither courts nor the Governor or anyone else were able to take action against him because the final decision on his resignation letter approval is to be taken by Telangana Assembly Speaker Madhusudhanachary.

However, someone or the other is putting efforts to strip Talasani Srinivas Yadav’s MLA post. A fresh petition has been filed in the high court against him on Thursday. A person named Shivaprasad Reddy filed a public interest litigation petition in the high court today challenging Talasani Srinivas Yadav for simultaneously continuing as minister in the TRS Government and as TDP MLA. Generally, it is mandatory to become member of Assembly or Legislative Council for any minister.

Of course, Talasani Srinivas Yadav is member of Assembly but not a TRS MLA. He is TDP MLA. The petitioner asks how one party MLA can become minister of other party’s government. He asked the high court to take appropriate action against Talasani Srinivas Yadav for violating constitutional mandatory procedure. High court accepted the petition and adjourned the case for two weeks.
