Man beaten to death in the premises of a court in Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh. Ramesh Nigam, an accused in 2 murder cases died after he was beaten up by the relatives of the victim on Monday.

Ramesh Nigam, a village Patwari, had come to the court to face trial in both cases when 2 women and their sons allegedly beat him up. The attackers have been identified as the family members of Nigam's alleged victims. They have been arrested and a case has been filed. Police rushed Nigam to a nearby hospital, where he was declared dead. The postmortem report, expected to throw light on the cause of his death, is awaited.
