Hyderabad: On Sunday, Prof Kodandaram, the chairman of TJAC participated in a strike which has been organized at Indira Park so as to emphasize TRS government’s anti-farmer policies and the difficulties that are being faced by  the farmers.

On this context MR Kodandaram said that, he was not against Mallannasagar or any other project, but he was against government opting to vigorous land acquisition. The government must interact with the peasants, assure them and then acquire the lands, he said, invoking section 144 and deploying police was not correct.
