The Madras High Court has made some strong comments regarding the present educational greed of the schools. It has warned that any school in the country shall not prescribe homework for children in Classes I & II. Further it has also directed the board of CBSC to maintain uniform in their syllabus. Responding to the complaint that various CBSC schools were imposing various text books, the court has directed the board to follow NCERT textbooks rather than trying various sorts of private publications.
