It has been estimated that the value of the 162 precious stones, mostly diamonds, that were offered by an unknown devotee on Wednesday in the Srivari hundi, would be around Rs1.5 crore.TTD executive officer LV Subramanyam said that, the exact figure would be known only after the evaluation report is received from the jewellery section of the TTD. He said that a purchase certificate of the precious stones was also found in the hundi along with the precious stones.
