Kanumuri refuse to step down TTD Chairman Kanumuri Bapiraju, who is supposed to quit his post, has changed his mind in the last minute and declared that he will not step down from his post and if the state government wants to remove him, it is free to do it. “I got this great opportunity to serve the god and I don’t want to lose it because government does not want me anymore. I will continue to serve the god as long as I have the chance. It is up to government whether to allow me to continue my services till end of my term or not. I will not quit serving the god on my own, said Bapiraju in the press meet held today at Tirumala hills.

So, he appears to creating trouble not only to government but also to himself. The government may be forced to remove him from his post. It is learnt that Chadalawada Krishna Murthy is likely to replace him.
