Why was Kanna Lakshminarayana summoned to Delhi?

Congress high command has summoned Minister Kanna Lakshminarayana to Delhi, two days ago, but it went unnoticed as the media and people are completely absorbed in the Assembly proceedings and their developments. Kanna, who is reported to be the high command choice for replacing CM Kiran Kumar Reddy, has met President Pranab Mukharji and Congress President Sonia Gandhi yesterday. Though the reasons for his sudden visit to Delhi and his meetings with President and Sonia Gandhi are not known, in the context of bifurcation of the state, Congress high command may be gearing for selecting the Chief Ministers for Andhra and Telangana states. If, this speculation is true, then next the Congress high command may summon someone from Telangana also very soon. CM Kiran Kumar Reddy is leaving for New Delhi today as he is also summoned by high command. So, the speculation can’t be ruled out.
