The most famous Kanipakam Vinayaka temple in the Chittor district as some peculiar and bizarre sounds emanated from one of the hundis in the temple. After some hours of continuous sounds, it was established that the sounds had stemmed from an imported watch lying in the hundi. Earlier people suspected there could be bomb inside the hundi and bomb squads were called in from Tirupati and Chittor.
