Himachal incident repeats in Jharkhand

A similar incident of Himachal Pradesh tragedy is narrowly averted in Jharkhand state today. Ten people from Chandrapura village near Bokaro narrowly escaped their death when Tenughat dam gates were opened suddenly without any alarm, while they are enjoying in River Damodara below the dam. All of they have immediately moved to a safer place in the river and shouted for help. The villagers passing by alerted the dam officials and they closed the gates immediately. All the ten people escaped unhurt in this horrifying incident. Police and district officials rushed to the spot and rescued them
