YCP wants division, but not TRS: JP

Loksatta president Jayaprakash Narayana, who spoke to media yesterday said, “Actually, YSR Congress party wants the state divide before next general elections and TRS, which is claiming of fighting for Telangana state doesn’t want it to be happen right now. YSR Congress party can gain political mileage out of its fake struggle and Samaikyandhra sentiment only if the state is divided. So, it badly wants the state divide before next general elections.”

“TRS party doesn’t want the state divide right now because for similar reasons. It can tap Telangana sentiment and gain political mileage only if Centre fails to carve Telangana state before next general elections. So, while YSR Congress party that is fighting to keep the state united badly wants the state divide and TRS, which is fighting for bifurcation doesn’t want it to be done right now to gain political mileage out of this sensitive issue in the next general elections,” said Jayaprakash Narayana.
