First, the police asked him to discontinue his hunger strike, but when he refused, they informed that they are shifting him to Guntur Government Hospital following the advice of doctors. Obviously, YSR Congress workers present around resisted the police but they manage to shift him to hospital.

Then also he tried to resist but the doctors administered IV fluids to him by force. Later, they conducted all regular tests and declared that his health condition is stable now. However, he will be kept under observation for next 24 hours in the hospital. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s wife, mother and sister also reached the hospital. With this Jagan Mohan Reddy’s six days’ fight for special status for AP state comes to end as predicted before. However, YSR Congress party leaders vow to continue their fight for special status.
