Jagan also prefers capital at Vijayawada?

YCP President Jagan Mohan Reddy, who is not sure about his stand on several burning issues like students’ fees reimbursement, Polavaram, crop loans waiver etc., seems has some clarity on where to build the new capital of the state.

Speaking to national media he said the capital can be built anywhere between the earmarked areas but there should be ample vacant government lands for it. The capital should be centrally located in the state so that people from remote districts also can easily reach there. The capital should be built should be in 144 square kms area so that it can accommodate High Court, Secretariat, Assembly, Legislative Counsel etc. So, he seems has no objections with state government’s choice of building the capital between Guntur and Vijayawada.
