Ace cricketer Irfan Pathan has appeared in a political meeting at Kheda in Gujarat today. At the meeting, he shared the dais with the state chief minister Narendra Modi, who is seeking the third term to rule the state.

 

Irfan has shared the dais at the campaign of the party in the area. However, Modi thanked the cricketer for his presence. The second phase of the polling in the state will be held on December 17.

 

The Vadodara based cricketer has been out of the Indian cricket team due to an injury. He waved at the crowd, who came to listen to the speech of the state chief minister. Modi has been trying to get the votes of the muslim community in the state who constitutes about 10% of the total population of the state. In many constituencies, the community is in a position to influence the outcome of the polling.

 

However, Irfan did not give any statement in the meeting in particular.
