Bangladesh scores lowest total in 44 years

Bangladesh has created a rare record. But they can’t be proud of making it. Playing on the first day of their first Test against West Indies, they were bowled out for just 43 runs. This was the lowest total recorded in past 44 years. None of the batsman from Bangladesh could reach a double figure except for Liton Das (25). Thanks to the assault of West Indies fast bowler Kemer Roach who took five wickets for eight runs, Bangla cricketers have scored their lowest total in test cricket. For the statistics it was New Zealand that made the lowest total in Test history. They were bowled out for 26 by England in Auckland in 1955. If you are curious to know the lowest total for Indian test cricket, it is 42 runs way back in 1974.
