NSG to meet again for India's entry discussion

The members of the Nuclear Suppliers Group may be meeting soon yet again to discuss about the probability of India's entry into the group. is likely to meet again before the end of the year to specially discuss the process for allowing non-NPT signatories into the 48-nation grouping, thus providing another chance to India to put its case forward. As India is not a signatory to the Nuclear non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) that proved to be the biggest hurdle for its entry while the meeting of the members was on just a couple of days ago. China cited this as one of the main reasons why India should not get an entry into the group. US officials also indicated earlier that India might be a part of the group by the end of the year.
