HYDERABAD: On Thursday, following heavy rains two-day holiday was declared by the government of Telangana for all the educational institutions located at Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy district. A press note has been issued by the Chief Minister of Telangana, i.e., K Chandrasekhar Rao, stating that all the universities, colleges and schools falling under Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation’s jurisdiction will remain shut due as heavy rainfall is expected in the coming two days. After reviewing the situation in the state, the officials were instructed by the CM to gear up for any eventuality.
