Hyderabad: The government of Andhra Pradesh’s decision to give ‘108 ambulance and health emergency services’ contract to a UK based Specialist Amublance Services BVG consortium has been stayed by the High Court of Hyderabad. An interim order has been given by the Hyderabad High Court’s Justice Suresh Kumar Kait while dealing with a petition which has been filed by GVK EMR, the present contractor. It has been contended by the petitioner that the association that has been selected didn’t satisfy the three-year experience condition in the area.
