Setback for T-government in High Court

Once again, Telangana government had a setback in the High Court. Responding to a petition filed by the Congress MP Gutta Sukhendar Reddy and TDP MLA Revanth Reddy, the high court declares that appointments of parliamentary secretaries by the Telangana government are not valid. The court orders the state government to make sure that all further appointments be made with its consent only. Hence, the appointments of V Satish Kumar (education); G Kishore Kumar (Medical); Srinivas Goud (Revenue); Kova Lakshmi (Agriculture); Jalagam Venkat Rao and Vinay Bhaskar (CM Office) as parliamentary secretaries will stand cancel. Telangana government has appointed its six leaders as parliamentary secretaries that provide minister of state status to them.
