Hardhik Patel to start an indefinite strike

Demanding a reservation for his community... Gujarat leader Hardhik Patel has announced that he would sit on indefinite hunger strike from August 25. Hardhik, a self proclaimed leader of Patedar community has always been aggressive towards the centre. His always complained that the centre is turning a cold eye towards the welfare of Patedar community, a main section in the population of Gujarat. However some of his protests have turned violent. In one such incident almost 14 members of patedar community were killed in violence leading to the arrest of Hardhik Patel. Governments fear that the upcoming hunger strike would also provoke huge violence.
