Gali shuttles between Hyd and Bangalore

 

Former Karnataka minister Gali Janardhan Reddy, who was arrested in connection with Obulapuram illegal mining cases, has been shifted to Bangalore today morning to attend another case filed against him by CBI, Karnataka branch. The Special court in Bangalore has granted CBI 6days custody of Gali Janardhan Reddy.

 

The Karnataka wing of CBI will interrogate him in connection with illegal transporting of Iron ore from Obulapuram to the fake companies created by him in several countries. Besides, he is also facing charges for bribing the judges at Hyderabad to get his bail. Hence, he has been shuttling between the two states’ capitals to attend several cases filed against him. It is learnt that few months ago, a separate case has been filed against his wife also in Karnataka court for her name appearing in the board of directors list in one of his mining companies.

 

With Center granting permission to prosecute the IAS Officer Sri Lakshmi, Gali Janardhan Reddy may expect CBI file more cases against him depending on the revelations by her.
